Architects per Thousand People

Are there too many architects in Europe? At least there is a lot competition within the business and most of the firms offer the same services: 'beautiful' buildings. It's getting hard to establish oneself.

9/11

today is the 9/11 and remember i was glued to the tv watching cnn the footage of the 2nd plane when hit the tower ... i was in pan pacific hotel in johor and the next morning i went to singapore and came back in the evening and again glued myself to cnn.

it was mix of feelings and emotions ... nice room, grate lighting, stormy weather outside around evening, tired of what i've done earlier in singapore, a hot shower, feeling cozy, a little freaked out of what happened in nyc.

then i get online ... internet was like wow ... just wow. u'll get the picture ...

now five years passed and i grown up ... there is no more of so many things ...

Melaka Addiction

never tought in my wildest dreams that i get to like a city like melaka, maybe it's just a sudden feeling and it will go away later but for now in my status u might find a line sayin' "I LOVE THIS TOWN" the junkers street, hotel puri, the orangutan house, archipelago island's crafts, shops, st.paul's hill and church, aldy hotel and restaurant around midnight, little restaurants in junkers area ... burger king's nearby, etc.

for some reason i kinda attached to them, the DATSUN Taxi and that 1974 E240 Mercedes Rides ... u may never undrestand what i'm talkin about here but as long as i do undrestand it, will do the job for me!!

Smells Like Melaka!

8:45am August 29th, 2006: LUCT Plaza, Cyberjaya

- when my sister dropped me there n said goodbye, i turned looked at the plaza the "limkokwing's turkey" ...

- i find my classmate playin' cards ...

- i guess i better off being a teacher and start to learnin a bit like actually a student i am!

- LakeHouse on d way to melaka ... iranian's start wondering if i'm avoiding them? that's our style "if u r not with them, u r against them" ... what a logic right?!

- not much of site analysis: i think Helmut Newton is totally ok to have his new studio in St. Paul Church anyways ...

- somethin cool ... from now on we can have "Melaka Jokes" instead of "Qazvin Jokes" (No Offence to both of them ... but Gay Jokes need the city damnit!)

- photoshoot night was the greatest from 10pm to 2am walkin n shootin ... for me just sketch photos with V360 see some here:

2:30am August 30st, 2006:

- WiFi was workin in Hotel .... so 4hrs of Layin Down and Net Surfing!

- Killin time to get back to cyber

- Bus ride was intresting ... i was thinking all the way ...  

ARUNA for iranian architect's community is known as a respectible and professional news agency about Architecture and Urbanism ... but again it's only for iranian community as we iranian closed ourselves to the outside world and blaming other elements and events to did that to us! i dont really want to get into the details but here is something that i thing administration and webmaster of ARUNA.IR must know ... that about 10000km south east of iran, in malaysia there is a NEW CABLE TV CHANNEL is going ON AIR by August 31st 2006 together with other 6 channels to celebrate the 10th anniversary of estabmishment of the cable tv service in malaysia called ASTRO ( http://www.astro.com.my ) as well as THE 49th anniversary of MALAYSIA INDEPENDENT DAY. i'm not really sure about u guys but i really think there is a COPYRIGHTS Case going on here what do u think?!
